What:

Looking for a way to give back to the community? Anyone interested in volunteering at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) is invited to a volunteer recruitment event at the county hospital on Wednesday. Representatives from CCRMC's volunteer program will be at the event to promote the many volunteer opportunities at the hospital. Volunteers play an integral role at CCRMC and perform a variety of duties such as providing assistance to patients and medical staff, clerical tasks and working in the Gift Shop. Some even play music and entertain our patients and staff.

Who:

The event is open to the public and anyone interested in volunteering. Those who would like to volunteer must complete the volunteer application process and pass a background check.

When:

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 17

Where:

First-floor lobby of CCRMC at 2500 Alhambra Ave. in Martinez
