The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Advisory Board of Contra Costa County is looking for volunteers to fill several vacancies on the board. There are seven vacancies that need to be filled: two in District 1, two in District 3, one in District 4, and two in District 5. (See the Board of Supervisors' website to find a district map.) People applying should have knowledge of, or an interest in addressing, alcohol and drug issues in their communities.
When
The AOD Advisory Board generally meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month in Martinez from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Meetings are also occasionally held in each supervisorial district from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in order to provide outreach to residents of those areas.
