Local Students Help Communicate How to Prevent Lead Poisoning

What:
Contra Costa Health Services' Lead Poisoning Prevention Project is hosting an event showcasing students' artwork for a 2012-13 lead poisoning prevention calendar contest.
Who:
The artists are fourth and fifth grade afterschool program students at Meadow Homes Elementary in Concord.
All art entries will be submitted to the California Department of Public Health for possible inclusion in a statewide calendar published by the California Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch.
When:
The opening will take place from 12:30 to 3 p.m. December 4 at Gallery Concord, 1765 Galindo Street, Concord, CA 94520.
Winners of the Contra Costa calendar contest will be announced at 12:30 p.m. and prizes will be awarded including a brand new bicycle and gift baskets.
