What:

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive in front of Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez. A blood donation can help a cancer patient receive treatment, an accident victim to survive or a new mother hold her baby after emergency surgery.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010
