The Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD) Advisory Board of Contra Costa County is seeking volunteers from all districts of Contra Costa County to serve on the Board. The mission of the Contra Costa County AOD Advisory Board is to assess family and community needs regarding prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse problems.

Findings and recommendations are shared with Contra Costa Health Services, the Board of Supervisors and the communities served. The AOD Advisory Board works with the Alcohol and Other Drugs Services Division of Contra Costa Health Services and provides input and recommendations regarding alcohol and other drugs prevention, intervention, recovery support and treatment services.

Volunteers on the Advisory Board must be 16 years or older, live or work in Contra Costa County and should have knowledge of, or an interest in addressing, Alcohol and Other Drugs issues in the community.
