Art Show Reveals County Healthcare Workers' Creative Side

Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) employees will share their artistic talents as painters, musicians, photographers, quilters and more at an art show titled "Healthcare Workers as Creators: An Evening of Art on the Courtyard." The event is part of the nonprofit community program, ArtsChange (formerly known as The Quilt of Many Colors).

Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC), outside lawn, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez.

Why

ArtsChange has been organizing visual art exhibits and education programs to address health and community issues since 1997 in public venues, including the CCHS Richmond Health Center. The event at CCRMC is part of efforts to expand the ArtsChange program to other parts of the county.

ArtsChange is funded by the Irvine Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, East Bay Community Foundation, Contra Costa County and other foundations, agencies and individual donors.
